Telecheck Services - A First Data Company, THE BIGGEST HASSLE I EVER HAD !!!! Houston, Texas

I tried to purchase a bed from Mattress Giant and because they use the TELECHECK service, my check was declined.

I do not understand, there is more than enough funds to cover my check that was written, not only was I inconvenienced for about an hour dealing with what seemed to be a programmed person on the other end at TELECHECK reading a pre-scripted answer to my issue I was hung up on when I asked to speak to a Manager.

I understand that large checks need to be cleared but how can a company (TELECHECK) make a decision on just my driver lc. # and my checking account # with having no contact with my bank what so ever.

This service must be stopped and stopped now; it is not providing a due service to the consumers or merchants and is a big rip-off for both.
