I received a charge on my Qwest bill from TELESEVEN LLC, via OANWEB.COM. It's for a 2 minute directory assistance call to 702/555-1212 (Clark Co, NV, including Las Vegas). Cost $4.33. The USF Carrier admin fee is $1.65. Total taxes $.60.
I called Qwest and was told she didn't know this company but by law they have the right to bill me through my phone bill. I was to call OAN first. Called, busy signal. Website comes up empty. Phoned Qwest back and spent 15 mins getting that pesky charge off my bill. Apparently OAN is a billing service for Teleseven but I have had no contact with either nor do I call directory assistance. The BBB has this company listed as unsatisfactory. OAN has 15 aliases.
