Teletech & Nextel Rip-off as a company makes false promises is very dishonest & deceptive & cares nothing about its' employees Englewood Colorado

Teletech is the worst company that anyone could ever think of to work for. They consistantly lie to their employees and bend the rules that they set forth to fit their needs. They are inconsistant and do not treat all employees equally.

I had worked for Teletech from 05/24/01 to 12/19/02 at which time I was terminated for reasons I still do not feel were correctly researched and I feel that I was descriminated against. I was a model employee with no previous history of write ups or any disciplinary action.

I did not have a frequent problem with absenteeism however, when I was forced to miss work it was always excused by my doctor. I went to work on December 19th like every average day and my then ex-sipervisor Anita Kienker (who can be reached at 303-721-3999 just ask for her extension) called me into the back for what she called a quick meeting.

Apparently they already had all this planned because the HR representative Joanie Shaw was sitting and available. At this time they stated that "We're going to terminate your employment." When I asked why Joanie stated, " You have missed work and because "someone" overheard you giving incorrect callback numbers to the customers."

When I requested to see the evidence against me Joanie flat out refused and would not let me see anything they had supposedly compiled. Joanie then stated "We contacted the customers and why would they lie?" Easy. The customers in a customer service world will lie because they want you to believe what they are claiming.

Both Joanie and Anita failed to take into account that my days out sick were excused. Rather they didn't care. The excuses were for highly communicable diseases such as strep which can be awful in a call center environment. I could not believe that they treated me this way for all I done for them. They made so many promises that were never kept.
