Telscape Communications provides phone and cell phone services through Life Line. I applied for services and was approved. The company sent out a used cell phone that didn't work. I called their tech support, went through the process of checking the device and it was determined that I had to send the phone back to receive a replacement. I sent the phone back the next day. After about a week and not hearing back from them, I called them to check the status. They said they sent out a replacement phone the day before. I allowed another week to pass after not receiving the replacement and called them again. Each time, I call, I get the same guy who is extremely rude and incompetent. He barely speaks English and obnoxiously keeps interupting you with worthless information. He keeps going over the same verification process even after I have answered all questions correctly. I explained to him that I had not receive the replacement, gave him the tracking number, he verified that they did receive it back and asks me, "when did you first get the cell phone?" as if that mattered since he already verified that they received the cell phone back already. I asked to speak to a manager because he continued to be beligerent and of course, he tells me "there's no manager available". I tried to continue with him and asked he what else could I do to help and he tells me "it's too late, you already asked to speak to a manager". He then tells me that a manager will call me back when  one is available, but when I tell him that he doesn't have a number to call me back because the phone they sent me didn't work and was sent back, he became even more obnoxious. I finally had enough of this guys bull!@#$ and hung up. I've been waiting for this company to provide the service they promised for 6 weeks and still have no service and no phone. My advice to anyone wishing to do business with this company is DO NOT! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced with ANY company in all my years of living. Futher more, this company provides Life Line services funded by the government for those of us in need. I can't say for certain whether California Life Line has paid them anything as there is no way for me to check or report them, but I'd say that they are being supplimented even though they have not provided any service.
