She does not know how to respect mine and my husband's right to privacy. She expressed that in the way that she had tore open the privacy curtain without notice and rudely implied that I may give my husband drugs without the doctor being notified first although there was already someone else in the room besides me and my husband.
I then asked for pain medication for my husband and the nurse said that the doctor would be notified but no one ever came to check on my husband nor update us on where the doctor was.
She then went on to turn off the call lights (I counted more than 10 times) when my husband complained of pain for more than 4 hours and neglected him of medical attention on the basis that the noise of the call lights were too loud. My husband left against medical advice because he was never attended to up until discharge.

PAIN in the ER is NOT a life threatening situation, so YOUR husband had to wait. The privacy curtains are a convenience and there is no ACTUAL expectation OF PRIVACY in a ER!! IF your husband started to have a heart attack that curtain would be gone and EVERY person in the ER is going to see. So not only is the nurse CORRECT that they can give meds WITHOUT a doctor YOU are intentionally blowing this out of proportion. I suspect that YOU are NOT reporting ANY ripoff and have done as EVERY female does and YOU didnt like the ER nurse so YOU think YOU can get away with bad mouthing them online. SOrry sweety but there ARE laws in place to protect people against mouth breathers like YOU. What YOU have WILLINGLY and WITH MALICE AND INTENT have done is spread defamation on a public site. YOU are at risk for being SUED by the very same person YOU have gossiped about. So YOU have put yourself, your husbands finances at risk and all because the ER nurse wouldnt pump your husband full of drugs. YOU are in the EMERGENCY ROOM! Thier job is to triage the worst of the people coming in. NOT to pump your husband full of pain killers when pain killers MAY NOT be indicated for your husbands condition. The doctors have to save the lives of those patients who at risk of dying. THAT takes time. Neither YOU or YOUR HUSBAND are going to go ahead of a 3 car pile up when your symptom is pain.
