I wanted to buy a template for a webshop.

The problem starts on this page:
http://www.tornado-templates.com

When you want to order something, you get redirected to this site:
www.templatehelp.com

You click on "checkout" and then you get to:
https://secure.template-help.com/ ........

I payed 135 US$ with Mastercard.

The payment process is very unusual.

You can choose between RSB WorldPay (all major Credit Cards), PayPal, Google Checkout and Webmoney.

They wanted me to fax them a copy of my creditcard. First I refused but then I did. After the payment they didn't deliver but they wanted a copy of my passport or my driving license. I refused. They told me if I do not give them a copy of my passport, I will not get my order but I will get my money back within 24 hours. I didn't get back the money of course.

This is the e-mail address, which they use: billing@template-help.com

Please be careful !!!!

Not An Honest Representation

AUTHOR: Swammee - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 26, 2010

We researched this organization when looking for templates for a new client web site.

They seem to operate under many names: tornado-templates, 5-templates and others all - apparently -owned by Jetimpex, Inc.

Jetimpex, Inc is DOES NOT appear to be an American company as stated in their profile header on this site. They seem to be a registered Panamania company as indicated here: http://whois.gwebtools.fr/5templates.biz .

Given the phising and other more serious accusations posted herein and the apparent lack of honesty in providing the true location of their business, we will not be doing business with this company.

This company appears to be an affiliate of TemplateMonster.com. We will be notifying TemplateMonster.com of the possibly questionable practices of this company.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tornado-Templates.com is a HONEST AFIILIATE COMPANY

AUTHOR: tornado-templates.com - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, June 20, 2010

We got very frustrated finding us filled here. We are doing affiliate business since 2004. We are TemplateMonster's.com Reseller. We sell their templates with little discounts. Since 2004 NOBODY got hurt. NEVER. We sold lots and lots of template by using the same system and everybody was happy until now. Nobody complained.

Anyway, we think that before anybody fill up such things, should contact the company if he has any problem. Also, the person who fill such of report should understand what's happening there:

We at Tornado-Templates.com use a fraud protection. If the purchase seems to be done by malicious people, the person who purchase receive a phone call and the operator tries to figure out if the person who purchased is the owner of the credit card. (Let's not forget  that a credit card is very easy to be theft).

We don't deny that in rare occasions (when the fraud filter pops up), we might ask for the proof that the buyer is the card holder, but we consider that it is a good thing for the citizen.

We also consider that this kind of "report" sites, should assure that the story is real BEFORE it gets published. This stories written by malicious people (maybe the fraudulent persons which got caught trying to cheat) might hurt companies or persons. We also understand that there are persons that just don't understand how an affiliate business work, but we think that they should try to find out that before just writing a report.  This is not a fair way to do it. We repeat, We are a 100% HONEST company that tried to get each client 100% satisfied with the results.

As a proof of our honesty, we can bring a bunch of 100% satisfied customers that bought templates from our online store (and never had "identity theft") or contracted our template customization services.

We encourage anybody who need to find out more about Tornado-Templates.com to contact us by filling up the form on our site and we will reply in no time.

We hope this kind of things won't happen again.

Warmest regards,
Tatiana
