Terrie Sponaugle Beware when an insurance agent comes to your home with only a laptop and a cell phone Fairview, West Virginia

Looking for health insurance in preparation of my son turning 26 I went on the internet to find health insurance.  I was eventually contacted by Terrie Sponaugle representin Insphere  Insurance Solutions. Since she was a local broker and I thought having a personal face to face relationship with an agent was important we arranged for her to come to our home and meet us.

She met my son, took his information and entered it on her laptop.  She called an insurance company to enter him into the system.  He was to have a health insurance policy thru Etna and she also sold him an optional life insurance policy thru Chesapeake. 

The insurance was to start in Dec. Monies were to debted from his checking account.  He received a phone call telling him he was approved.

In Feb he was in an accident.  When he called Etna for his insurance information he was told there was no paperwork on him and that he was not insured.  He contacted Ms Sponaugle who said she would take care of it. I have also contacted her and was told the same thing.

Over 1 month later we nave not heard anything from the agent and my son is having bills come in from the hospital and ambulance.  The only record of any transaction that went thru from her visit to our house was the Chesapke Life insurance policy. It will be cancelled tomorrow.
