I frequently investigate companies that market on the internet, specifically companies that create so-called "review sites", where consumers are supposed to be able to go to the website and receive non-biased reviews from real consumers.  Unfortunately, there are many companies that have taken an unethical approach to this method of communicating with consumers, and they create their own review sites for the benefit of their company - not the consumer.  In most cases, the sites DO NOT disclose that they are actually owned by the company selling the products!  If you are lucky, they may state it in very fine print somewhere; however, in this case I don't believe that to be true.  I can't find anywhere on the website GoldDealerReviews.com where the relationship to Texas Precoius Metals is disclosed.

Texas Precious Metals is affiliated with PM Web Assets and GoldDealerReviews.com - they are physically located at the same address.  However, I cannot find anywhere on the website where it is disclosed to consumers that the site is managed by Texas Precious Metals, nor can I find a phone number to call at the headquarters of GoldDealerReviews.com (probably because it would be the same phone number of Texas Precious Metals).  To be fair, the website, www.golddealerreviews.com, is registered to "PM Web Assets, LLC", not Texas Precious Metals.  However, PM Web Assets, LLC, is located at the exact same address as Texas Precious Metals.  Conflict of interest?  hmmmm.....

When a consumer goes to the website, GoldDealerReviews.com, they are presented with review profiles of many different companies in the gold and silver industry, but there is really only one company with 5 Star reviews across the board.  You guessed it...Texas Precious Metals!

I seriously question companies that aren't willing to be upfront and open about their marketing, and I HIGHLY question companies that create their own review sites and then purposely try to be deceptive about their relationship to that review site.  It's one thing if a company offers customer reviews on the website of the company itself - everyone knows that the company is going to generally allow posts that are at least neutral, but most will be favorable.  However, when you create a website that appears to be independent and non-biased, but really is related to a company promoting the products - shame on you!

Consumers should be wary about doing business with Texas Precoius Metals!  What are they hiding?
