I placed an order with Charity Pitts at her site texas Scentsations on April 29, 2008 for candle tarts. My order was 130.70. She sent me a paypal invoice on may 2, 2008 and I paid right away. On May 29, 2008 she sent out a mass email stating she was sick and had to move and was clsing her site but would be getting all outstanding orders out by the end of the week. Also she stated if you just wanted a refund she would be more than happy to do that too. I waited for my order.
Now its July 1, 2008 and I still have no tarts and no money. Her website never reopened as stated on her website(she says on her site reopening July 1, 2008) So now I email her that I need her to refund me. I tried calling her number, but that is turned off.
On July 10, 2008 another mass email is sent and she says she is still sick, her kid has had heart surgery and she is separated from her husband and he turned off the phone. But she will be getting in touch with people by the end of the week. It is now July 29, 2008. I have not heard from her. I have no tarts, no money and Im really mad at this point. Its not my problem she has problems but she feels she can just hold onto my money that she HAS NOT WORKED FOR. I worked for that money and have nothing to show for it. She has made her problem MY problem. Horrible Horrible woman.
I paid by paypal and in waiting the first time giving her time to send to me I cannot file to get my money back. Dont make my mistake, stay away from TEXASSCENTSATIONS and Charity Pitts. She is a liar and a thief.

Last night while I was out Charity called and left a message. She has sent my order and apologized for the wait. Im very glad that she got intouch with me and that my order is on its way. I wish I didn't have to go thru the feeling like I was being taken, but I'm very glad its over and resolved. I wish her well.
