Spoke to manager on phone about horse I was interested in knowing more about - saw photos and video of horse standing still.  was supposed to be 15 hand kid safe gelding with lots of trail experience.

They said all the right things, Drove nearly 2 hours to find a dangerously unkempt facility with several skinny horses in small barren fields, they brought out the horse I was there to see - he was 15.3 hands (I was very specific about 15h being my absolute max height), 100+ pounds underweight, ugly - not sure who the photo was, and dead lame - they hadn't noticed.  They also tried to hide the fact this horse could not pick up right lead ( probably due to lameness issues) - he was quite sweet and if a non-horse person were to visit they could easily be talked into buying an overpriced horse with serious health problems.
