I was looking online for books for college and found what I needed on this website. It offered free shipping over $25 and my books were definitely over that. The screen just before finalizing the transaction showed that shipping would be free. However, when I went to the final screen the shipping jumped to $13.86.

I clicked on the "details" button for shipping however nothing showed why I was being charged. I tried to call to find out but the company was closed. They only give you 45 minutes to make the purchase before your order is no longer secure.

To keep from losing the book I needed I made the purchase. By time I was able to call they had already shipped the products. I asked for them to refund the shipping for the inconvenience. They stated they wouldn't because if you went to the FAQ section, then clicked on the "help desk" button, then click the "shipping" button, then read the fine print that states that they don't ship to po boxes.

This obviously was not easy to get to especially when it was not stated at all on the shipping "details" button. So I had no idea what to look for. When I asked them if I could just refuse the package then reorder it, they said if an order is refused they keep the shipping cost anyway. They were also very rude by this point on the phone.

They are charging me $13.86 to ship to a po box at the post office instead of sending it free UPS to my street address. My mother works at the post office and said it wouldn't even cost $13.86 to send it. Also, UPS delivers most of the packages in my town to the post office to deliver anyways because we live in a rural area. What ever happened to honesty and customer satisfaction?
