Textured Coatings Of America massive peeling of "tec-cote" product on my house Company denies any fault. Panama City Florida

Had this product applied in 2001 after the same sales pitch as the first reporter but I paid over $9000 expecting I would never have to worry about facing the prospect of repainting my house when I sell it sometime in the next few years.

I discovered the paint separating all over the south facing wall of the house when I was installing shutters I discovered a small area of the paint to be loose along one side of the window. I peeled it away and from that point on,It just kept coming off in large swaths

After numerous phone calls to Company that applied the product The owner came out, later sent a painter out who said he would scrape off the worst of it ,and repaint. when asked about more peeling in the future he said "don't worry, It will just hang there" this is when I began to worry. Bottom line they never contacted me again until this spring (2007)after I contacted TCA,the mfgr. this second employee again proposed a "quick fix" which I rejected.

I sent in a warrenty claim with pictures to TCA in may 2007. they did not bother to contact me, rather I had to call THEM July 20th for a response.

They claim the product is not at fault, but would not admit it was a case of improper application. I have researched causes of paint failure extensively over the net, they all point to the product not having been applied correctly,per their own web site video, Assuming it is as fabulous as TCA claims it is.

the Company refuses to send me a copy of the "Lab report" on the findings, just further confirming my suspicions that they and the applicator, H R Smith Company of Seattle are stonewalling.

They will be hearing from an attorney shortly.
