That Electronics Guy merkat31 Switched juicers on me, sold me one that was dead, missing parts for more than a new juicer. No refund. Mukilteo, Washington

That Electronics Guy advertises juicers on Craigslist. He advertises them as a consumer, not a business, saying they are in like new condition only being used once. I contacted him and drove to his city to pick up an Omega juicer. He told me that I would be better off with a Jack LaLane, and I bought it.  By the way, I found out that I could get a brand new one at Costco for fifty dollars less.  I got home, found it in fiflthy condidtion, cleaned it and plugged it in.  It was dead.  On top of that it was missing several critical parts. 

I emailed and texted him immediately, no answer. After a few more trys, he said that there are no refunds. He did not advertise the product as no refunds, as is, or for parts only. Without a stated policy, he owes the consumer their money back in full for a faulty item.  I don't understand why he doesn't undertand this.

On top of this, I have been doing some research, and I don't think he has a legimate business. He is selling products via Craigslist for taxes, and I haven't been able to find government records for him. I will pursue this further because I think the government will be interested in his under-the-table, cash activiities.

Meanwhile, my wife bought me a new juicer for Christmas, and this piece of garbage that he sold me is riding around in my car.  I will not relent until this rip-off artist, con man refunds my money in full.
