The Affluent Page Magazine, what can I say about this company. They are con artist. I was contacted 9 months ago to do graphic work for their clients who wanted ads in the Magazine but didn't have anyone to do the graphic layouts. So Affluent Page Magazine contacted me to help their clients out. So i did. Completed the work for more then 8 clients with in a week. I made contact with their clients and even helped one client with his network issues so he could send me files and i didn't charge for it.

I submitted my invoice to The Affluent Page Magazine told me i would have a check in two weeks. Nine months later I still have not received payment. I call and email them all the time asking for payment and I will either get no return calls or emails, or I would get a call stating they will send payment on a date which never happens.

I decided to call a few of the clients i did work for to see what they might be able to help out on since i did do the work for them. The clients i did get a hold of said that the Affluent Page got them to pre-pay for the ad space and they yet to see a magazine with their advertisement. They are very upset but have done nothing hoping the Affluent Page will come through, which i highly doubt.

I would love to get paid for my services i did over 9 months ago and see the clients get their ads in that magazine or get their money back. I am making a effort now to got on every website that can get the word our about this magazine so they know they can do this again. Maybe people who are thinking about advertising through them might read this and have a change of mind.

Thanks for your ear and time.

I was upset because the magazine decided to terminate

my contract shortly after my work started. They

indicated my designs was not of luxury quality.

Due to their dissatisfaction, we came to an agreement

where they paid me an immediate 50% fee on

what was originally owed. I did agree to these terms.

At the time, I was working on many other projects and was

overwhelmed with other work. Lets just say it wasn't my best

work and I can understand their point of view.

However times are now tough and I must admit, I need

money. I decided to make up a story of how they didn't

pay me and a lie of how advertisers didn't see the ads.

I decided to post it online in hopes of getting them to respond.

They recently contacted me after seeing the previous post.

And agreed to help me out with some money.

I know this sounds wrong and really awful on my part, but again

I was hoping to get them to pay me more money. I know they

didn't have to pay, but they did and that was very kind of them.

I believe in karma and decided to come clean.

My sincere apologies to this Magazine.

I never contacted any advertisers or anyone at the

Magazine. I shouldn't have made these false statements. It

was poor judgment and simply the wrong thing to do.

If anyone is considering doing business with them, I must

say I do in deed really endorse them.
