The Auto Loan Network Harassing phone calls several times per day ?, Illinois

Someone stating they are with the "Auto Loan Network" keeps calling my home phone saying I am preapproved for an auto loan and they need to verify some information. They have called my house 11 times in the last 2 days. I did not answer until today. The man has an Indian or Middle-eastern accent, and says his name is Jack. The first time he called I told him that I wasn't interested and I wanted to be taken off the call list. He said "I will try." I said "No, don't try, just do it. Do you understand?" He said "Do you understand F*ck You?" At which point I said I would be contacting my local police department. He said it did not matter they would not find him. Then he called back about 10 minutes later and after I told him again, that I was calling the police, he began calling me all sorts of rude and unnecessary things. I am sick of this. My phone company said to answer the calls, hang up, then press *57, which supposedly traces the call. I did that the last time, and it said the call could not be traced. I am sick of these calls and want them to stop. If I ever find out who it is, I am pressing charges.
