An individual called and only said they were confirming our directory listing. There were no services offered, no services requested and we did not receive any services. On my next AT&T statement a charge for $34.95 appeared that only said The Billing Resource, Billed on Behalf of Precision Comms.Intl., LLC. The item was described as Precision Comm Intl-Web SVCS MTH FEE. Plus there was a tax of $2.45 added on.
I called this company and lectured them on the practice of cramming and the representative Kelly agreed to reverse the charges.
Just to be safe I had AT&T reverse the charges on their end as well. I also filed complaints against the Billing Resource with the Better Business Bureau, the FTC, the FCC & the State of North Carolina Attorney General.
Beware of anyone calling to confirm a directory listing. Just say NO! Also contact your phone company and put a block on 3rd party charges. Finally I think it is best to file complaints with every federal and state agency you can think of. Perhaps legal action will stop this company from getting fat by cramming the small business owner with hidden charges on their phone bills.
