I ordered a custom engraved Jewelry Box for my girlfriends birthday. The time to ship was listed at 2-3 weeks. At the 3 week point the estimated ship date rolled back 5 days. It continued to do this every 5 days for 2 months.
They DO NOT have a customer service phone number. E-mail attempts were met with generic replies of cannot guarantee shipment times.
After threatening to report them they admitted they do not "do not manufacture or personalize the items we distribute" and "can neither expedite the shipping process nor contact the jeweler to determine the progress of any given order at any time"
They finally sent me a letter saying they are unable to ship my order for 3 months in the future and they were cancelling unless I called.
Overall poor customer service and I'm not convinced they even are able to ship the items they list on their website. Avoid.

Bradford Exchange Update

In the spirit of fairness I wanted to update my order status with the Bradford Exchange. I received a letter in the mail stating that my classic rose monogrammed jewelry box was delayed and would not be shipped till 7/21/2012. I ordered it at the end of March with an expected 2-3 week ship time.
The letter also stated that if I did nothing my order would be cancelled. If I wanted to reinstate my order call a number. I did nothing.
About a week later I received an e-mail stating my order from the Bradford Exchange had shipped. Sure enough it arrived about 5 days later in perfect condition and my credit card was charged.
Those are facts, you can decide yourself if it is worth to order from a company that obviously has communication problems in the manufacturing process.
