I read a couple of ripoff reports on The Brown Law Group. I am a victim as well. This firm is taking advantage of folks having difficulty in tough economic times by charging insanely high fees for collection. I owed about $600 in fees, however, they started sending me threatening letters.

Lo and behold in a couple of months the fees and payments ballooned to over $2000. What is going on? Is anybody regulating these guys? Is there any recourse to containing this madness? Even credit card companies have a heart! It looks like they are using unfair debt collecting practices and should be investigated. If I were a media reporter I would be all over these guys who are driving honest, hard working individuals into the ground.
