The Browsery/ Lee Hill's Auction Lee Hill announced on her bull horn that she was going to call the police because I left my parrot in my car. I had just stopped for 5 minutes and the bird was safe; also it isn't illegal to leave a pet in a car in PA. East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania

My wife and I were returning from a camping trip.  We decided to stop at The Browery to check out what they had for auction.  We didn't intend to stay for the auction, because we had to get home and unpack.  We parked our car under a shady tree and left our parrot, Lucky in the car.  While we were in the store we checked on Lucky several times.  After about five minutes a woman who I later found out was Lee Hill (who calls herself Aunt Lee) blared out on a bull horn, "Someone left a parrot in a car.  Either you bring the parrot inside or we will call the police!"  A building full of hundreds of shoppers looked at us and one woman yelled, "Shame on you!"  My wife and I were stunned.  We went out to our car and I opened the door and a man reached in and tried to touch our parrot without our permission.  Another woman, presumably a worker, was standing behind our car watching.  We were treated like criminals.  Actually, after looking it up, I found that it is not illegal to leave a pet in a car in Pennsylvania.  I suffer from a precancerous condition as well as a heart disease and I had intense acid reflux for days after this event.

Lee Hill could have talked to us in a nice way and found out that we were only stopping in for a few minutes, but she chose to use a bullying tactic and to slander my wife and myself.  Before Ms. Hill took over, this was a friendly auction to which I had been a member for years.  I do not recommend this auction to anyone.
