I found this company on the internet over a year ago and began communicating with Stacey Krueger about purchasing a puppy. At the time, she immediately returned e-mails and phone calls. I googled their business name and found nothing out of the ordinary or anything to alert me to a scam. At the time, my husband was getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan so we decided to wait until he returned home to purchase a puppy. After he left, we both continued to look at the puppies on their site and in December, we decided to contact Stacey again and pay a deposit so we could have a puppy in March when he returns home.

Stacey responded to our e-mails immediately and she sent me the paperwork to fill out and the information on the health guarantee. I faxed the paperwork back and she confirmed she received it and the deposit of $1200.00 was charged to my Mastercard on December 16th. I e-mailed her again about a month after this and advised her we may have to hold off on getting a puppy because we have orders to move. She assured me my deposit was good "forever" and to let her know what we decided. I asked her to go ahead and send me pictures of the March litter and we would let her know if we were going to get one or wait until later.

I have been checking their website daily for close to a month for new pictures and it seems to be down for maintenance. I finally started to get nervous and e-mailed Stacey. I then decided to call her only to find out the phone number she gave me is disconnected. I googled the business name again and found 10 complaints on this site. I found a different phone number for Stacey on another report and I called and got her voice mail. I have not received a return call yet and by the sound of it, I doubt I will. I plan to contact my credit card company and The Better Business Bureau in Florida but I would appreciate any feedback from anyone else who is also dealing with this.

I am absolutely irate over this because I am going to have to tell my husband, who has spent the last 12 months in Afghanistan risking his life, that the puppy he is so looking forward to is not going to be here when he gets home and it seems we are out $1200.00. Unacceptable!

Wendy,

It has been my understanding that The Bulldog Exchange has closed down its business. There have been numerous complaints against the company. Another
unhappy customer spoke with Stacy and was told that the business has been closed down. This is most likely the reason the websites are no longer functioning. Contact your credit card company to dispute your charges and have them reversed. The Better Business Bureau is aware of this company and has given
them an F rating. We are a military family as well and we have been wronged
by this whole organization. You can contact base legal for more advise and help
in getting your money returned.

I wish you and your family the best of luck!
