We bought/financed a car for our daughter.  We pay a good lump some for deposit and to pay the rest within a month.  3 weeks later, we kept getting phone call stating that we need to pay and pick up her new tag.  When we called them back, we kept telling them that we have giving them my daughter tag number that he previously had from his previous car.  They told us that the person that handled our deal is no longer there.  So we had to pay them and took the new tag and some additional deposit that we were supposed to pay according to them.  Two months later, my daughter was at her job and a company called Overall Recovery located in Hialeah towed her car and told her to call Car Depot of Miramar.  With tears she called me and i told her that i did not know that we had to pay them more money.  She told me that she did not get any calls and my husband who is the co-signer did not get any calls, emails nor mails regarding payment that was due and the option of repo her car.  We have been trying to contact them at car depot of miramar, no one wants to help.  Everyone claimed that they cannot do anything and the owner "Kennya Quesada" is the one that can.  NO one can contact her, no one will give us her phone number nor her email.  So for five days we are waiting for the miracle person to tell us how much we supposely owe and where to pay.  In the meantime, the tow company "Overall Recovery inc." is accruing money.  Sound kind of fishy.  We want to pay and get our car.  But no one will tell us.

The Car Depot of Miramar is the worst place to buy car.  They will take your money and repo your car with no explanation.  I truly believe that something is going on and it is not pretty.  I am sitll trying to reach and wait until this Keynna lady to decide when she wants to be in the office so hopefully someone will let me know so she can tell us what to do.  Buyers, please beware of Car Depot of Miramar.

Fraud?

AUTHOR: Bubba Lee - (Canada)

1st It sounds like they may have siezed the car to re-sell it because you paid out the loan and they did not make enough. If so this is fraud. You need to refer to your original loan documents and be aware you may have the "Right" to re-instate your loan.

2nd Call a non-profit consumer counceling service, they will know what the small print really means and how the law applies in your case. Google (or Bing or) "Florida Non-profit Credit help" for an agency near you.

3rd If they did not provide you with the documents pertaining to your loan at the time of sale this is against the law. See point two for advice on how to persue this.

If you follow my advice quickly you will be able to get the best outcome, waiting will allow the scum to rip you off worse.

The Credit advice people will get a call back in a hurry I bet. Scum hate trained oposition.

Good Luck
