The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine Angeles Clinic for Animals - Main office in Port Angeles Dr couldn't read lab report properly and took 10 days to get the results of an ultrasound that was sitting on her desk, forcing me to chase it down, giving me 10 less days to adequately treat my pet, what the ultrasound showed, was cancer. 3/30 i took my chicken in after hours due to distended tummy.  dr Stevens told me to euthanize her, although her only justification for that was "all my years of treating chickens".  I don't kill my pets becuase they become an inconvenience, so after back and forth, I told her to aspirate and send me home with meds.  I also asked to send sample of fluid to the lab.  She told me she'd call me back Monday.  No call, so i called Wednesday.  Backus, who was beyond rude, told me the lab said, "inflammation due to infection or possible lymphoma".  My response, "so the lab has no idea".  She said, "yeah, pretty much".   I told her I needed to bring her on again that week to aspirate, flush crop and take an ultrasound.  She told me, "you have a tx plan", and i said, "yes, including $800 for overnights at a place with no staff to watch her.  If I'm going to leave her in a cage, i'll just keep her at home".  She said, "fine" and transfered me.  The second appt came and although I don't believe they flushed her crop, i was sent on my way. 

No ultrasound result.  I thought they had to send them out.  after 10 days of waiting, i called again.  Ayisha answered, laughed when she told me they had the wrong email address (after i was already angry  I to wait for 10 days) and come to find out 1) there was a lesion; and, 2) the lab was read to me incorrectly.  Music called me tp field my complaint.  Why did Steven's wait to give me the results, which i had to chase down, after they were sitting on her desk for 10 days??   we already know there is no excuse, but music told me she would tell the directors and partners and not one has stepped forward to apologise.  She asked what they could do, and I said, "give me those 10 days back".  They killed my bird.  All they care about is money.  They discriminated against me and my bird because she's a "chicken" and didn't care at all to read the lab results correctly, OR call me on either results, leaving the most important one sitting on Steven's desk for 10 days.

These are horrible providers.  They don't care at all about you or your pet, discriminate due to its breed and blow you off as soon as they get their money.  Find another place to take your pets.  This one will treat you like garbage.  I read several complaints after I went there and wish I'd have known before i went. 

If your child's ultrasound results came back with internal lesions (cancerous) and the results sat on the dr's desk 10 days, how would you feel?  No one can tell me those 10 days wouldn't have made a difference.  Money hungry, selfish, pathetic excuses for "drs".  Avoid them!
