The week-long, intensive Thai massage training "retreat" advertised on Ms. Call's website mainly involves sitting on her living room floor watching old VHS tapes of instructors performing Thai massage. The "lodging in lovely private retreat setting" = sleeping on the floor of her track home in a residential neighborhood. Ms. Call's teaching style is abrasive and pushy, and the schedule lacks real structure - lots of wasted time. Often we were left to do 'homework' while Ms. Call went shopping or did household chores, up to 3 hours at a time. The website oversells the retreat experience and the Thai massage instruction. To anyone considering the training course: I suggest you save your money and go to an actual Thai massage training center.
