On August 11, 2010 I placed an order for 2010 Boy Scouts of America Centennial Dollar at 4:52 PM.  I tried to cancel the order less than 25 minutes later.  However, by then they were closed so I sent an email at 5:46 PM to request cancellation.  The email was answered at 8:28 AM the next morning stating that it was too late to cancel and that the order had already been sent to the shipper.  I called their 800 number a few minutes later and spoke to "Randy" who told me the same thing and that the shipment could not be stopped.

Both the email and Randy told me just to "refuse the package when UPS delivers it."  Frankly, I find it difficult to believe that an order cannot be canceled that early in the process in this electronic age.  I believe that customers are given that excuse because many customers would probably keep the coins, once delivered.  I base my belief on the fact that if my credit card had "bounced" I'll bet they could have stopped the shipment!!!

Oh, by the way, they are very good at making sure my credit card was charged "immediately."

The coin that was "immediately" sent to the shipper after I ordered it for some reason didn't arrive at my home until August 24th, 13 days after being shipped immediately...I wonder why it took so long since they ship "immediately?"  I refused the package as they suggested on the day it was delivered.

Well...their speed slows down to nothing after they ship coins.  It has now been 21 days since I returned the coin but do you think my credit card has been credited with the return?  The answer is a great big NO.  The Coin Vault can't seem to handle that part of the process with near the speed they display on the front end.

In my opinion, The Coin Vault is not a customer friendly company, has no intention of changing, and their best quality is ripping off the customer!
