The Cupcake Girls had a suite at the AVN awards convention which took place at Hard Rock Hotel two weeks ago. They advertised on their Facebook page that they were giving free makeovers and hair-do's/ up-do's and if you pay $20 it will reserve your spot. The part about paying for a service advertised as "FREE" didnt sit well with me, but I was told it was to reserve my spot. I was given instructions to go on their website and make the payment as a "donation" which I did. I have a receipt to prove this.

Two days later; I showed up a few minutes early for my appointment but they claimed I didnt have one. Then they refused to give me the "free" makeover. This made me very upset. I contacted Hotel  Management who tried to talk them into giving me a refund, being as how I had paid the twenty dollars. They shrugged and simply said that all donations made on our website are non-refundable.

So now I am going to contact the Atttorney General's office about this. Remember to stay away from Cupcake Girls they are in Las Vegas and Portland according to their website. I hope AVN bans them next year for theft and fraud....this mandatory donation is going to cost them because I am also going to the IRS about it....
