The Design People thedesignpeople, The Design People Website designers charged me over $1,700 and NEVER built or hosted my website. They are a ripoff! Internet

I hired The Design People website design company in El Segundo, California about a year ago to design a website for my small business.  They charged me amost $1,300 up front on my credit card to build a website for me, plus $39.95 per month to host it online.  Still now, about a year later, I am waiting for them to produce my website.  I have called them and spoken to managers, who have done absolutely nothing about it.  They have failed to build and host my website, but have been charging me every month for the hosting for almost a year.  

In the very early stages of this process, I provided them with numerous photographs, an outline form and webpage content for them to use in the construction of my website.  I provided the company with all that they needed to build it, as well as paid in full for the construction and hosting, but when I called and spoke to the managers, they first told me that they were still waiting for me to provide them with the same photos and content that I had previously sent them. 

In later calls, they told me that they would research the problem and call me back, but never returned the calls.  To this day, they are still charging me for hosting my website, but I still do NOT have one.  I would NEVER use this company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else.  They are a major ripoff !
