The only positive thing to be said about my business interaction w/these sub-par, deceitful movers is that they showed up on time! I moved Sunday, November 22nd, 2015. I chose The Final Touch Movers b/c Jay (the owner) quoted & offered (what I thought was) a good rate. Needless to say, I ignored my intuition & paid these cons the agreed upon amount in full in cash; only to learn after the fact that: my brand new, expensive curio was severely damaged when these uncaring, unprofessional, general day laborers completely shattered the mirror inside the curio into hundreds of pieces; they dropped my bedroom dresser-gouging out 2 large pieces of wood from 2 different areas on the front of it; broke my less than yr old washing machine (likely also from being dropped since the expensive broken part was protected & secured behind a solid metal covering that could only be damaged by the machine being dropped on its backside); haphazzardly & randomly placed clearly labeled boxes throught every room of my new home; reconnected none of the appliances they moved into my new home; filled the garage @ my new home w/belongings that should've been brought inside (i.e. furniture, paintings, cookware, large floral arrangements, etc...); & initially wouldn't reassemble furniture (such as beds, desks, dining room table) they disassembled to move from one house to the next. To add insult to injury, as I continued to ask for my damaged belongings to be repaired &/or replaced--after more than a week of Jay (the owner) repeatedly lying to me both verbally & in writing about a repairman allegedly planning to come by my house to repair & resolve the issues referenced above; Jay had the audacity to finally tell me that he'd need to consult w/his attorney (identified by Jay as Mr Robert Smith) before honoring his own vacant promises. To date, Jay Shine has completed absolutely none of the tasks he agreed to. My mirror is still destroyed, dresser still ruined, numerous boxes continue to be searched for, my family remains unable to do laundry as we must await receipt of a replacement part, & my garage remains full of household items too heavy for me to move inside the house therefore, forcing me to park my vehicle in the unsecured driveway instead of in my secured garage. This company successfully violated my trust, severely damaged a number of my personal belongings and has since absolved themselves of any responsibility of ensuring I'm made whole.
