I was soaked for $7500 for what I was to find was a sham,..a work -out- of -your- home business fraud. I have followed complaints and reports on this site for several years figuring nothing would ever come of it. I had almost completely fogotten about the whole thing, chalking it up to a "life learning experience".
I received an official "Discharge of Debtor in a Chapter 7 Case" today.
It is an official notice of discharge of debt for debtor-
Judith Takala Fidler, 11333 Moorpark St. #457, Studio City CA 91602. The bankruptcy No. is 1:05-bk-20284-KT Chapter 7. The notice was from the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California, 21041 Burbank Blvd. Woodland Hills, CA 91367-6603. The order was dated May 25, 2007.
It took me a few minutes of looking at the form before I recognized the name and confirmed it by checking in on this site. I thought I would pass this information on to anyone who may be interested. Apparently the lady is /has filed bankruptcy, and being discharged of responsibility to repay any of her victims.
I don't know what anyone can do with this, if they wanted to. Just thought I would pass it on.
