The Hartford AARP Auto Ins. Prog. Hartford Fire Ins. Co. Ripped me off for over $500. & lied about my credit report for @ three years! Hartford Connecticut

For over 3 yrs. "The Hartford" has been charging me @ $1200. for full coverage for my son(24yrs.old) & I. Every year I called to find out why & was told it was because I had low credit limits, neg. public records, recent late payments & applied for credit too often resulting in higher rates. I recently applied for a home owners loan & when they checked my report my credit score was 768, had 7% debt ratio(very low), NO recent late payments for 48 mon. or more(that's how far back they went), ZERO neg. public records & only applied for credit cards TWICE(only have 2 cards)! So it appears they lied to me about everything. I would advise everyone with Hartford to review your policy & call any other ins. co. & ask for a quote. My quess is you're being lied to as I was. I called Liberty Mutual & got the same coverage for @$500. less. Don't let these lying A--holes fool you as they did me. Probably my fault for believing them so don't believe anything they say! Please check anyone else. And shame on you AARP for endorsing them & how much of my money did you get? Oh, by the way, I still have the doc.(s) they sent me with said lies in print, so ask for hard copies so you can document any discrepencies or lies. Thank you for this chance to get out the word on these lying you know whats.   Jeff
