I purchased a MasterSpa from MASTER SPA of LONG ISLAND several years back. I paid over $7000.00 for this tub and had nothing but problems with it from DAY ONE. Mr. Rich Tamburino and Master Spa of Long Island created nothing but headaches for me as I tried to get my spa replaced and/or fixed endless amounts of times.
Now, I have decided to test the waters again and get a new spa. Since Mr. Tamburino's company, MASTER SPA of LONG ISLAND had forcibly been closed down due to his fradulent business practices and pathetic customer service, I thought I would be safe.
I wandered into the Hot Tub Factory and sure enough, who did I see there. Mr. Rich Tamburino. It made me sick to my stomach that he could open a new business and be doing this to new victims. Although I am sure that his image is enblazoned on the face of all the customers he has ripped off over the years, he failed to recongnize me.
I listened to his pitch and how great the spas he was selling were. I asked all the appropriate questions, however, when it came to how long he has been in business, he seemed to dodge concrete answers. He said he had been in business a long time and had worked for several other companies before landing at The Hot Tub Factory. Naturally, the rip-off artist was not going to tell me that he was the owner of a hot tub company that was forcibly shut down due to bad business practices.
I am just writing this so that ALL consumers are aware that Mr. Rich Tamburino has resurfaced yet again, and this time, it is the customers of the HOT TUB FACTORY that are in danger. Please please please do your research before buying a spa, and whatever you do DO NOT BUY FROM THE HOT TUB FACTORY!!!!!!

I am the owner of The Hot Tub Factory for the past 5 years. I did not purchase the business from a Rich Tamborino so he never owned this business. I have an A rating with the BBB. Who ever placed this report was incorrect. Rich Tamborino possibly worked for the old owner of this company but did not and has not been anywhere near my store since I have owned it.
