Everyone that is looking into this "franchise"  Be very wary.  You are probably the next in a series of "Ponzi" schemes from this one half of the Dynamic Duo.  Before you give them ANY of your money, do your research and check into Todd Welker's failed Nothing But Noodles franchise where they put at least 30 to 40 people into the poor house.  This doesn't make any sense at all to me why a Chiropractor would "need" to pay a royalty and Franchise fee for something that YOU went to school for.  Todd Welker is a MASTER at manipulation and will talk an eskimo into buying a bag of ice so just do your homework and make sure you have all of your facts straight before "investing" into Todd Welkers future million dollar homes and very expensive cars.  If you talk with him, ask him about his partner in CRIME, Chad Everts.  He also has a million dollar home from the money of hard working individuals that invested in the now defunct Nothing but Noodles franchise.  What a joke, GO and work for a living Todd and stop trying to deceive people out of the money that THEY worked for!!

Refreshing!

AUTHOR: Fred - ()

POSTED: Thursday, May 09, 2013

Todd,

It's refreshing to finally hear one of the Duo admit that Nothing but Noodles was a flawed concept instead of hearing all the blame go towards the franchisee.  I always thought it would be you to step up to the plate and I applaud you for that! It's a very sad deal and yes a lot of people lost a lot of money over the Nothing but Noodles Franchise. It was always most frustrating to me to hear you guys blaming the franchisee's saying your not marketing enough, your execution is poor, maybe you need new management, etc. etc.  I'll never forget the first "Franchisee meeting" you guys held in AZ.  It was what really turned me off to the whole concept and made me realize what a mistake I had just made by investing in the Nothing but Noodles concept.  Then to see you and Chad drive up in $100k Porshes and BMW's,  that was probably the most arrogant thing I had ever seen and that left a sour taste in my mouth like I can't even explain. We have recovered from it mentally (although the idiots responding to my post won't believe that) to which I could care less.  All of the idiots on here talking about s**t they have no idea about.  There are some stupid people out there that respond about topics they have no idea about,  until it happens to them they should keep their mouths shut!  I will be honest, I didn't think anyone would even read this forum.  Was this website what put the nail in the coffin for the Nothing but Noodles concept?  If it was then I applaud this website!

It sounds like you have learned from the past, I just hope that you have a little more compassion for the people that put their hard earned money in to yourconcept if they are struggling or the concept is struggling.  Honesty is above everything else in this world.  I'm only on here annonomously because I have no idea if you will or can come after someone on here or not? It's not a fight I want to spend my money on a lawyer for!

It's not for me to judge the new concept and it was never my intent to get The Joint involved with this thread, I seriously just wanted people to know of the past and do their own homework on the franchise they are investing into.  I wish I would have saw something like this 8 years ago, when I wrote you guys my first check for the Nothing but Noodles concept!  I could have done my homework a lot better and maybe would have been a little wiser from it.  I'm sure the people that invested with Bernie Madoff would have wished their was a post on this website as well. lol

I might start a dialogue with you in private in the future!  I appreciate your response and truly hope you have learned from the past.  If someone wants out of the Nothing but Noodles concept, LET THEM LEAVE!!  Don't threaten them with lawsuits and have them spend their money on lawyers, they have spent enough of their money trying to survive!  Have a heart and have compassion!

P.S.  Chad Everts is still a piece of s**t and he will never be one to be trusted!!

Dear fake Fred,

Nothing But Noodles was not a successful franchise for many reasons, but not because it was a scheme. I invested hundreds of thousands of dollars of my own money into the concept, borrowed an additional $1,250,000.00 (with a personal guarantee), and reinvested millions of dollars of revenue into the corporate infrastructure. I also owned two stores that closed and lost over a million dollars at one location. I can assure you, it was not “a huge success financially” for me or for Chad and, in fact, has been quite the opposite.

I had very high hopes for Noodles, worked very hard to make it succeed and believed in its longevity. Unfortunately, the concept grew too fast, was complicated to run at the store level and was not always well received in new markets. For the most part, minus a handful of successful stores, it failed and obviously did not pan out the way I had hoped. I know many good people lost a lot of money investing in Noodles franchises and for that I am sorry, very much so.

I can tell you are still angry and for that I am sorry too. I hope you find peace and I hope hearing from me helps. I am also very sorry for your financial lose and I hope you have been able to recover from your investment in a Noodles franchise. I wish things had turned out differently. Best of luck to you in all your future endeavors; I hope they are wildly successful.

Lastly, I am happy to continue this dialogue, but would prefer to do it privately. I encourage you to email me at twelker@me.com.

Sincerely,

Todd Welker

You are probably a silver spoon fed little yuppie that hasn't earned a dollar of his own.  Still living off your fathers hard work and his money, not yours.  That is of little care to me.  I am not a bitter person at all, just wanting to let people know to do their homework!  The Joint might be a great franchise, I'm not saying it's not.  People are so eager to get into the next "Mcdonalds" type franchise it sometimes clouds their judgement.  There used to be 47-50 "Nothing but Noodles" franchises out there up and running but now they are down to about 6 from what the "updated" website shows.  At least this thread has gotten somebody to update that website.  If you do know Todd and Chad, ask them what went wrong?  Now Ponzi scheme, might not be the best way to represent the failed Nothing but Noodles and I never coined that phrase the first time out.  For you to blame the "economy" for 40+ stores to fail, you are an idiot!  That's an easy out for anybody to use as an excuse! The concept was broken from the beginning but it was the Noodle Duo that still went out and sold as many "franchises" as they could to some very good upstanding people that worked hard for their money, not their "daddy's" money.  Now with all that money rolling in don't you think those two would have re-invested into the concept that got them into their million dollar homes and $100k plus cars and maybe cured some of the problems?  No they didn't, they spent it and lived the lifestyle of a rock star. They bought into all of the talk in the "Valley".

I'm not labotomized, just trying to help people do their own research.  I'm sure Todd and Chad can explain all of this to the potential investors in their new venture!  I know they can sell that's for sure.  If it's a sound and financially stable concept, then it will have legs.  Also, to be fair here, Todd is probably the better of the duo, if he were lying in a ditch in need of medical care, I would call an ambulance, but if Chad Everts were in the same position I would keep on driving!

Todd, that's a pathetic attempt to try and reach out.  If you really want to settle bad blood, admit publicly that the Nothing but Noodles franchise was a huge success finacially for only two people, while leaving a path of destruction behind them to all the franchisees who bought into your scheme!

This is Todd Welker and I am going to address each and every post listed here with my name attached. I have ignored this site and these anonymous defamatory posts for years under the advice of council, but I am tired of the cowardly and untrue remarks about my character, my integrity and my business practices. I take full responsibility for my station in life and it is time for others to do the same. For those that claim to be an ex-employee, ex-franchisee or vendor that I have somehow cheated, I have created an email account, welkerresolution@gmail.com. I hope you contact me so we can discuss your concerns like civilized human beings and try to reach an amicable solution to your grievance. If you choose not to email me and continue posting on this website, then you obviously do not care to resolve the issue or engage in a meaningful, intelligent conversation. I will do everything in my power to discover who you are and bring you to justice for your deceitful, defamatory, lies. To suggest my businesses are Ponzi schemes, or otherwise unethical, is ignorant and libel. I look forward to putting this bad blood to bed and wish everyone here the greatest happiness and success.

Sincerely,

Todd Welker

I doubt either Todd or Chad have the time to even read this stuff...i found this because of my association with the Joint...and the lies are shocking....you are welcome to come to any of my units and get an adjustment and see how we are doing, might make you feel better, less constipated,  i will even open my books to you....nothing stolen from me friend.....i am a person greatful for their involvement, and i know nothing about YOUR dealings with them, but i know about mine, and thats how i know that you are a liar...do you realize how you sound? Obviously not..calling people names and hurling accusations from behind some anonymous platform in regards to business you are obviously not even connected to in any way...i am connected to it, and i am duely offended that you are even trying to drag the name of the company into your vendetta . That's a lot of malice for one man, you obviously feel so screwed and so angry, that you don't know what to do with yourself. i am very sorry for you and you are right Karma is a B**ch, watch for it.

You've made my point!!

I'm laughing as I write this because you obviously are either Todd Welker or Chad Everts, because if you've ever met either one of these SCUM, you wouldn't be sticking up for either one of them.  I've learned that Todd is no longer involved with The Joint Chiropractic company so maybe they learned about him and his evil ways, or learned that he is just a plain dumb piece of sh*t!  Chad is the next piece of sh*t they need to learn about, but he might just avoid all things involved with "work".  Now "IF" these two worms aren't involved with The Joint, then everything might be above board, but I can guarantee you if they are involved, then I would run for the hills!  So you tell me, are either one of the Dynamic Noodle Duo involved with The Joint Chiropractic or not?  Go to Youtube and type in Todd Welker, and their is a video of the "Great One" who looks uttterly lost in space when questioned.

The last time I checked they only had 2 "franchises" (with the last brainstorm of an idea) left running but the website is a huge lie. I probably shouldn't say that, they just don't have the money or care to update the website I'm sure.  It's probably everything they can do to save enough money to live in their duplexes.  I personally have no ill will against either of the two pieces of crap that pose as "professionals, I'm just hoping to save someone from making the mistake of getting involved with Chad Everts and Todd Welker in any type of business when they are asking for money.  Karma is a b*tch and it will come full circle on them.  I just hope that they suck on the end of a shotgun before they try to con more people into getting involved with them or the next "franchise" or "company" they represent.  The old concept has a business address that is in a family neighborhood it looks like to me.  A far stretch from the fancy offices they used to call home! Oh that's right, you have to actually pay for office space! haha

Ah this platform should not be used by failed and bitter people full of lies

I am well acquainted with The Joint and can say to anyone interested that the guy who posted this report is ignorant and full of nonsense, clearly he also has no idea of what a "Ponzi" scheme is and it doesn't make sense to him, because it seems that he has been lobotomized by bitterness, or maybe he has been this way all along, that would explain his evident business failures and griping. it's funny to read that nonsense but kind of sad too because it maligns some super nice people, and why because he failed somewhere in Oklahoma i guess? and couldn't take it like a man, had to blame the franchisor, i am assuming Todd Welker was the franchisor to this guy. Here is the thing, a lot fo businesses failed, there are many factors for their failing, the economy did not help, and it is tragic, and people suffer for it, it is the risk of doing business, you dont need to go and spread your misery around with lies and nonsense. The JOINT for example is doing amazingly well, information is publically available, it is a tremendously successful franchise concept, poised to go public at the end of the year, i know as my family has 3 locations, and it's the best thing that ever happened to us, we hope ot have more. Todd has been upfront, kind and completely amazing in every respect....and i am sad to see his name or the name of the JOINt on this website, written up in this ignorant and clearly malicious manner. Very sad for you also. maybe if you didn't waste your life trying to indelibly malign reputations of hard working people you would be more successful over there, in Oklahoma.
