Received promotional advertisiement via fax from "The Journey Pros" 888.376.7870.
After a few phone calls with questions, decided to book 4days/3nights to the Cayman Islands. Was told HAD to make payment via a check. I NOW understand why they do a bank draft vs a credit card payment because of leagal recourses!!
Was told since the dates I wanted to travel were less than their 90 days allowance I had to pay an expedited fee.
Received an email with the "Travel Certificate Process" and was told I needed to contact their "Accounts Payable Dept., to ask for Melissa (800.610.9330) or to contact thier customer service department (877.235.3321). This second customer service number was no where on the documents that "the Journey Pro's" initially sent over to me.
Had issues reaching someone after multiple phone calls and emails. Was also concerned because the email address given for "The Travel Center" are have GMAIL extensions??? The emails I have been sending are to: customerservice@thejourneypros.com, refunds@thejourneypros.com, yourpromotionalpackage.noreply@GMAIL.com, and Info.TravelCenter@GMAIL.com
Finally "The Journey Pros" returned an email, stating the same thing in the "Travel Certificate Process"
FINALLY, got in touch with someone at "The Travel Center"
Paid the expedited fee, but the name on the check (which is didn't find out until the verbal check was cashed) is completely different from the name I was given that the payment would be made to.
Now, I am unable to reach somone directly via phone to dicuss my travel. I send emails, but they are slow to respond or don't even address the questions I have.
When you call "The Travel Centers" number 800.861.7313, it just rings, a voice recording comes on, however, you are not able to press any options, Dial ")", or leave a voicemail.
I've called RIGHT AT the time they are to open, still to no avail.
Now when I call "The Journey Pro's", not sure if they have my number on a "DO NOT CALL LIST", but no one picks up, even though when I call from other numbers someone answers the phone, but hands up once I start asking questions.
I file a complaint with my bank, closed down the account that the two draft checks were deducted from, as well has file a detail police report (submitting all the emails, and "documentation" that both companies sent to me".
I contacted an attorney and forwarded all the documents/correspondence as well.
On Monday, I will be contacting both the Attorney General's office and BBB.

If you JUST booked, I STRONGLY suggest you request your refund ASAP....the ABILITY to confirm your travel dates will be EXTREMELY difficult. Reaching 'customer service' with either "The Journey Pros" or "The Travel Center" will be a battle. The email address to respond to The Travel Center is a GMAIL account. What LEGITIMATE company uses a GMAIL account. Try Googling the company's, no luck! I wish I would have read the Better Business Bureau & this site before I proceeded. Since you are inquiring, you are now consciously aware of the headache you are about to incur. Best of luck~

hi. I just accepted a vacation with The Journey Pros and just received the travel center documents with steps on mailing booking fees etc. before I go any further, I want to know what the issue was with your travel dates. Can you be very specific On why you couldnt travel the dates you wanted to? And are they willing to give you alternative dates.
