The K9 Academy Phoenix AZ Lies upon lies and animal neglect Phoenix Arizona

After 2 weeks and 5 days of training and boarding, we picked up our 8 month old German Shepherd from The K9 Academy (in Phoenix, Az at the Whitton location). I noticed my dog's feet looked weird. I thought maybe she had grown the time she was there. When we got home I noticed she was walking different. The next day I checked her out from head to toe and found sores on her leg and she was "covered" in ticks.

I called my Vet regarding her front paws. She was either injured and acquired Carpal Subluxation or she got Splayed feet from a lack of exercise and being kenneled too long.  Our dog was also under weight. We brought enough food for the duration of her stay. We gave specific instructions for feeding and the amount of food to be fed as she is still a puppy. When we picked her up she still had a half of bin of food, which should have been emptied.

I reached out to Chris the owner and he refused to take any accountability. He did admit that the dogs are kenneled 20 hours a day.The facility is disgusting and I'm sure if the animal department investigated, they would agree. They do not let you tour the facility or check on your dogs unless you pay $100 to come and see them.

We caught Chris in several lies and the training was not at all as he claimed it would be. He made guarantees and promises and I assure you, my dog is not doing what he guaranteed. We were told he would not use a shock collar on her and that was a lie. You can see where he shaved her neck to fit the collar. We were supposed to be trained on her training and we were not. He said he would be the one training our dog and that was a lie. We recieved lie after lie.  What was most diturbing is that my husband is a doctor and he was soliciting to barter his services for guns and/or medicine for his training.  

I think this facility should be investigated for animal neglect.
