The-Local-Painters are Not a reliable company. I am not sure if they are really a company, Called the number, left several messages. Finally got a call back, Travis never even listened to my voicemails said his receiptionist was on vacation and they are busy. Went ahead and set up a date and time for 5 painters for one day for a week from the call. At 10pm the night before they call to confirm the painters for the next morning at 8:30am. At 8am Amanda calls and says the painter is in the hospital. I said "What about the other 4 painters?" She said that he was the supervisor and she would get back to me. Never did, as I sit and wait. Finally I call back at 10am and Travis said that he JUST heard about it. Really? So he said he would stay in touch and let me know what was going on, NEVER called me back. About noon I get a call from a Painter and he said that he would be there the next day with 4 painters. I said fine, 8:30am. He said, I just want you to know that I am always on time. Fine. Next morning, at 8:20 on a Sunday morning I get a call that they are in traffic. Really? So I wait, 45 minutes later he texts me a fake picture of 2 cars in a crash along some side road with tall trees with no leaves, like it is in the middle of winter. This is Florida folks, all is green. He said he was in an accident. I wasn't buying it for one minute. He said, he had to talk to the "trooper" and get back with me. Which he never did. I texted him and said "don't bother" He said "Oh Wow, well if you don't find a painter at a better price I can do it tomorrow." I told him the picture was fake, the company is fake and it was never about the money. I would have paid triple to have the job done on Saturday or Sunday. Never heard from Travis ever. Don't bother using this company. Travis is just a middle man to painters, jacking up the price to make money scheduling painters who don't show up. RIP-OFF for sure!
