My husband went to the lord's ranch on Fertille Valley rd and I was not happy. I went to see him often and you could see the bed bugs on the furniture. There are several people who refuse to live IN the house because of it. They lock up the meds. And they aren't always there with the keys. There was one guy that actually went to the ER on one occasion when I was there because the guy that had the keys to the meds went to seattle and they couldn't get the gentleman his meds. There are guys there that need to be in assisted living. Like the one that passes out and when he comes to it takes him hours to remember where he is. They had one guy there that would sit in the community livingroom that would jerk. They found that same guy out in the rabbit barn sleeping with 3 kittens that he decapitated. There are guys that make their own wine there. And they can walk to the store and buy beer. AND THEY DO....... OFTEN....... Yes they have a food bank. But they give away the food that is for the house. Then the guys go with out. And on the wellfare thing. They encourage the guys to get on wellfare. But once they are on wellfare they take 75% of their cash and almost all of their food stamps. Janis Simila makes it out to sound like they aren't making it. But her and Adrian started to buy a house with the 35000 dollar donation that was made to the ranch. Their animals ar not cared for properly. They don't feed them right and when their animals have babies, 95% of them die. Adrian and Janis don't run the ranch. The guys do. So why do they need the money from the guys. And yes. They do drugs there too. There are several guys that have been caught sticking needles in their arms. Or taking pills. And the guys that have keys to the meds are mostly drug addicts themselves. Last I checked you have to have a license to despence meds. And I'm pretty sure you have to have a license to take care of the people in a group situation like they are doing. And on another note. They don't do any kind of background checks on these guys. And I know of one registered sex offender that has been there. And this was under Janis and Adrian's so called MINISTRY. They also worked with a guy that had a women's ministry that is shut down now because while that guys wife was in california he was raping at least 2 of the women in the ministry. NICE HUH? So no I would not recomend going to the lord's ranch for help. If you are smart get into a rehab or go to a detox. The lord's ranch is a fraud and a scam so that Adrian and Janis can take money and do what they want. They have no concern for the guys that are at the ranch. And something to keep in mind............ Janis is famous for saying, and I quote "This Too Shall Pass". It's her way of getting out of things she doesn't want to be bothered and she deffinatly doesn't care.

A true story of my time at the lords ranch

AUTHOR: wana-be-angel - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 18, 2015

I stayed at the lords ranch for several months in 2011 and it was a well run place with many hours spent studing the bible or some other activity doveted to learning to become a spiritualy insiteful person. There was also a fair amount of work to do to keep up the ranch, daily cleaning of the ranch house top to bottom, care and feeding of the animals ( I feed the pigs everyday and cleaned there stalls, I enjoyed it but it was a dirty job.). The people there were well feed three, meals a day, and htere was frequently someone coming to entertain in the evenings music, or preachers giving sermons. Its a decent place to go to.

The hate shows

AUTHOR: Mohay - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, June 25, 2015

I stayed at the Lord's Ranch in Elk as an undercover minister interested in homeless ministry in 2006 for several months. Nothing in this report seems to be legit except that yes there are homeless people as you obviously were. Bed bugs are microscopic, there can not be 24/7 monitoring, and yes there are probably sick beyond the care that can be administered. Your hate shows and obviously you have a computer. Perhaps pay for your and husbands treatment next time. It gets worse !!!

The Lord's Ranch will not leave anyone homeless if they can help it and i think that the Lord's Ranch would be better with better support. ministries with a lot of heart but not enough funding are not alway as nice as they could be with better funding. Thank you.
