Valerie McDaniel of Montrose Veterinary clinic that is located at 1701 Montrose Blvd in Houston TX was arrested for trying to hire a hitman to kill her ex husband. (Can anyone say deranged psycho). Would you trust these poeple to take care of your pet?

Prior to this incident most people would have said Valerie McDaniel was "nice" or "They never thought she could do that", but some people saw through her facade and knew something was wrong with her due to the fact of how she treated some people. Now she is in jail for being accused of murder-for-hire plot. What kind of a sick human being would do such a pathetic act? If she tries to hire someoen to kill a person she was once married to, then what do you think she thinks of your pets.

Whats more disturbing is the fact that she had everyone fooled (almost everyone) some people saw through her fake facade attitude and saw through her fake personality she portrayed at work.

Just read about Valerie McDaniel from Montrose Veterinary Clinic in this article http://abc13.com/news/couple-accused-of-trying-to-hire-hitman-to-kill-their-exes/1795582/

There will undoubtedly be people in denial that "she wouldnt do this" but the reality is that it appears she did, until proven otherwise (which is not likely) I would not even take ANY pet to this place. Seriously, what kind of a sick minded person would even come up with such a fiendish idea like Valeri McDaniel to try and kill her ex husband? No one I would trust with my pet , thats for sure!

This is not a rip off report and should not be allowed on rip off report

As at as I can see, this Dr was a fine vet and never hurt an animal or ripped anyone off. The person filing the report seems to have a grudge but has no story of being ripped off. People in this country are presumed innocent until proven guilty, so either this person has a grudge to bear or should put this on a blog.

Ripoff report should delete accounts such as these, and only allow actual rip off reports!

It is my understanding that Ripoff Report is to report people or companies who have, in fact or in perception, materially ripped someone off. This "report" implies nothing of the sort. It is an ugly, unproven diatribe on Valerie McDaniel with no facts whatsoever involved.

I neither know Dr. McDaniel, nor have I used her veterinary services, but I do believe in objective discourse. Yes, Dr. McDaniel has been charged with a crime. No one knows the actual details of this crime unless they work for the prosecuting attorney. If the Report Writer does work for the prosecuting attorney, which they would have to in order to state, " . . . the reality is it appears she did, until proven otherwise (which is not likely) . . . " with any veracity, they had better be prepared to lose their job for discussing or implying any facts from a case that has not yet been tried.

Apparently too, based on his/her diagnosis of "deranged psycho," Report Writer believes him/herself to be a licensed psychologist. Even if, however, this is the case, no reputable mental health professional would diagnose someone who was not their patient. If Dr. McDaniel should, in fact, be the patient of the Report Writer, then again, Report Writer is in for a great deal of legal trouble for breaking doctor/patient confidentiality.

For the record, I myself, find animals preferable to people and I do not think that is a character flaw. Everything that I have read about Dr. McDaniel as a veterinarian indicates that she is both competant and caring. I cannot speak for other people, but those are two major qualifications I look for in a veterinarian.

The accusations of "fake personality" and "fake . . . attitude" are wholly unsubstantiated by any facts or examples and are subjective observations in any case. Report Writer sounds suspiciously like a disgruntled employee with an ax to grind.

In conclusion, Report Writer is certainly not writing a report about a ripoff in the understood sense of the word. If by ripoff Report Writer means he/she does not agree with the character of a person, then perhaps they could start their own blog about persons they consider a ripoff. I'm sure there would be legions of entries based on the apparent criteria of Report Writer.
