Paradym Group hired numerous brand ambassadors across the nation (AZ, ATL, LAS VEGAS, LOS ANGELES, SF, etc.) for the launch of Kanye West new clothing line only to tell them that they weren't hired the day before the event took place (August 19th-21st, 2016) As independent contractors many lost jobs for the week due to Paradym's unorganized and unprofessional work ethic.
Some brand ambassador's drove out of their way to another state to work the event after signing a contract and were told that they were no longer working.
An agent by the name of Maria Clark hiring in various cities across Facebook sent everyone a confirmation and later told staff that she called to speak to them and if they did not pick up the call, they were instantly dropped without their knowledge. Unfortunately nobody received a call, voicemail, or text message nor any type of communication back from the agency and agents days before the event took place.

Paradym Group is known for a lot of things and scamming people or ripping them off is not one of them. We have prided ourselves on getting quality work and paying our talent quickly. As you can see in all the years in business this is the 1st person to write something against our company. I feel this person who wrote this just is not understanding the situation in full.
As any talent or ageny knows we are at the mercy of our client. We do our best to protect our talent and will fight for them as much as we can. However in this situation our client who was hired by "kanye" hired our company to provide over 600 Brand Ambassadors to various cities across the country with only a weeks notice and minute by mintue changes. All our our talent agents worked extra hours and worked over night to get this task completed. The day of the event we learned that the client NOT our agency decided they wanted to send BA's home as they were over staffed. Some BA's were called in advance on the West Coast by our talent agents and others learned when they arrived because we were not told in advance. Those that came from longer distances were only hired as locals. We were as irritated as the BA's sent home because our agency only makes a percentage of the hours worked by each BA. Our agency lost several thousands of dollars by them being sent home. We worked hard to fight our client to get them to pay those that were scheduled but did not work and we were not compensated.
We would love for each BA that was scheduled to be paid because that means that our ageny would be paid. This is the reason we have in our agreements that talent is paid not based on what they are shceduled but based on the actual hours worked. We also our only obligated to pay talent if we get paid by our client per Florida statutes.
I hope that those affected by this understand that this was not something that Paradym did to you and should not reflect the way our agency works. I am frustrated at the report because it only hurts the agency by having bad remarks towards it and if other see it may not give us a chance. At the end of the day the talent lose because we are a good agency with a upstanding reputation.
