I made my reservations almost a year in advance for my bachelorette party and my wedding party bus. My sister in law made the reservation for the bachelorette party and I for the wedding.

They promises the world. that the bus would be spotless, have laser lights and smoke machine. PROMISED it would show up on time.

1) bachelorette party -- bus was 2 hours late ... was told that the bus was 15 minutes away for the 2 hours it was late. they flat out LIED!! the girl was nasty to me and was telling me that there was nothing she could do.

once the WRONG bus arrived it was dirty, smelled and the bathroom did not work.

At this point I wanted to cancel my wedding, they said even though I had a horrifying expeience that I could not cancel, and if I did they were not giving me $$ back.

so then, on my wedding day, I was going to use the bus to transport and shuttle guests. the bus was cancelled at the last minute, just what any bride need on her day, to find out guests had to find a ride from the hotel to the church after I told them not to rent cars

First of all i have no doubt about you incident as well as others. I really would like to see a boycott of this company. They treat their customers like uneducated consumers and they always have a scam.

Problems arise everyday on these buses, from minor defects to major repairs and the Owners expect us as drivers to just roll a bus out the yard weather its safe or not. They have been fine multiple times by the DOT (Department Of Transportation). The customer is always wrong is the motto that they go by. I have been in many situations that had to be solved by office personell and they basically told the customer to take it or leave it but you are not getting a refund.

The Owner John, is a disresfectful, money hungry man. He charges the drivers out of pocket for damge to a bus out of our paychecks (unlawfull), i thought that is what insurance is for. He pays his drivers 2 - 7 days late depending on how he feels, and then you check will most likely bounce when it is deposited.

If you are lucky to get a bus for your affair there is a 90% chance that something will be wrong. Here are some examples:

1. They advertise sattelite TV's on the buses. (but they dont pay the bill for the service so it does not work)

2. Most buses come with disco lighting but they are broken.

3. The stereo systems seldom work fully functionally. Ie CD, Ipod hook ups.

4. Flooring on the buses are horrible, and if you have carpet in you bus.... it stinks.

5. The buses alway have exterior damage..... not like those pretty buses on the website. Those are old pictures.

6. As far as mechanical saftey they are always in the shop and need to be replaced. Your taking your life in your own hands.

7. The driver are frequently over worked and under rested..... so make sure he "stays awake". DOT log books can be alterded to make it look like he has had rest.

I worked there for a short time ... they encourage you to lie, they have a FAKE customer service manager named "howie" this way they can just avoid the MANY MANY complaints they get about the buses. They would tell us to do anything we could to get a sale, even if they knew they could not follow through. They cancel proms, wedding, 21st birthdays, casino trips ... without a second thought. buses break down, are gross inside, ... they send buses out with broken TV's and other equipment.

I am embarrassed that I work for such a company, and am sorry for all the people who were screwed by The Party Ride.

USE ANOTHER COMPANY, trust me, something will go wrong.
