Art Covert whom passed away in August of 2012 was basically a fair person who know what he was doing. His daughter Kellee has since taken over The Pawn Shop. She knows nothing about the value of anything and is only running this place through greed and dishonesty.

To give an example, If you go to Lowe's or Home Depot a Dewalt 18 volt drill kit retails for $269.00. This Kellee will offer or pawn, buy or obtain through default a drill kit like this for $20 to $25 brand new. Then, this is on the shelf for sale for $250.00. What a deal right? EVERYTHING in this store is priced two or three dollars less than you could buy it brand new somewhere else. A lady's husband passed away and she needed money to bury him. I witnessed this poor woman bring in about 20 VERY expensive high end guns, shotguns and rifles. Kellee hemmed and hawed in her most unattractive way, as usual, Kellee was NOT blessed with good looks, VERY scary winch! Anyway, she went through the motions of inspecting all of these weapons, working the mechanisms & clicking the triggers dryfiring, (NOT GOOD TO DRYFIRE A WEAPON!). After her acadamy award winning inspections she told the poor woman that these guns were in poor condition but she would do her a favor and give her $400.00 for them. The woman was agast. The poor woman told scary Kellee that her husband had collected these guns all of his life and was always cleaning and caring for them. That they were his pride and joy and quite valuable. More Kellee babble telling the woman that they really were not worth much but she would go $500.00 for TWENTY weapons! The distraught woman in desperate need of money to bury her husband accepted the money. Once the woman left the store with her meager $500.00 I picked up one of the weapons, a beautifull Winchester in imaculate condition. This gun alone was quite nice and valuable. I asked Kellee the winch if she would sell me just the one Winchester for $400.00. She started freaking out claiming that that particular gun would fetch more than $2,000.00! That's just ONE of twenty guns! $2,000.00!

That's what I call taking advantage of someone and being more than greedy.
