THE PENTECOSTALS OF FORT WORTH DRIVER MICHAEL MORGAN TRYING TO ATTRACT BLACK PEOPLE TO THE CHURCH BY DRIVING THE CHURCH VAN THROUGH ALL BLACK NEIGHBORHOODS IN FORT WORTH SCREAMING OUT THE WINDOW THEY ARE "SERVING FRIED CHICKEN!" WTF!? HOW IGNORANT OF HIM. I CALLED THE CHURCH TO COMPLAIN AND WAS TOLD "WELL, THEY WERE SERVING FRIED CHICKEN". BUT YOU DONT DRIVE THROUGH BLACK AREAS SCREAMING IT TO BLACKS YOU IDIOTS!!! I live In Warren Terrance Apartments located at 8701 Calmont Avenue which is in Fort Worth, TX. I've lived in Texas now for a few months (in Dallas) and I have lived in Fort Worth now for a little over a month. This community would be considered low income and mostly black, and Hispanic minority residents. There are, however, a few higher income people who choose to stay here because it is so cheap And they save money quickly. 

Today I was surprised to see a large, brand new Church bus outside my apartment. It had "The Pentecostals of Fort Worth" written on the side, and a tall, slender, well dressed white guy was walking around. I approached him and asked him did they pick up from my location and he immediately said yes and before I could say another word he asked me did I want to come and said they were serving "fried chicken".

I am a black person and since living in Texas I hear "fried chicken" from these ignorant, racist white folks a lot. They know the historical significance and racial insimulations of approaching black people and claiming we all love "fried chicken" but here in Texas they show their ignorance proudly and then claim stupidity. 

It it was also the way Mr. Michael Morgan said it and he didn't say it once he kept repeating it. After listening to him continuously loudly try to persuade me to come to his church by saying over and over in a loud and embarrassing act (to me anyway) that they had fried chicken I took his card and quickly moved on.

When I called the church to complain, the white woman who answerd the phone also claimed ignorance and said "Well, we are serving chicken". Unbelievable. The day they decide to promote the church in what they knew to be a majority black area they decided to serve "Fried Chicken" and to largely use that to promote themselves in a black neighborhood and draw blacks.

These racist idiots are dumb as hell and Texas has an abundance of them. 

Send an email to this church and let them know what they did is not acceptable. Its similar to driving through a Hispanic community using "Tacos" to draw members. I can't believe texans are this stupid.
