On Nov. 11, 2014, I placed an order for a December Subscription box "tailored to your needs" as a Christmas gift for our granddaughter.  She filled out the questionnaire describing her likes or dislikes for certain horse-connected products--to help PonyBox decide what to send.

It was suppose to be sent out Dec. 15--to arrive before Christmas.

I ordered the most expensive box for $80--according to them, suppose to have a value of at least $90--including (in their words) such items as bridles, saddle pads, tack sets, etc.

The package arrived Dec. 26.  After opening it, our granddaughter found an small, open box of horse treats scattered over the bottom, a cheap-looking set of polo wraps, 3 small iron-on horse patches and a small bottle of mane and tail lotion--ALL of which might be valued for $15 at the most!

Needless to say, our granddaughter was very disappointed-as we were!

I tried to call the company with the phone number listed on my Mastercard receipt several times with an answering machine my ony response. 

I sent a letter to what I thought was their email address, but was unable to get a response back. Unfortunately, I think there are several other sites online with the PonyBox like name and this "company" that I ordered from is not the legitimate one and is "using the name of honest companies.

I warn anyone who plans on ordering from the PonyBox monthly subsription box--to NOT do it; otherwise you will be out the cost of the box plus the shipping charge.  I paid $87 for some very low-quality products, shipped very late!
