The Porter Group Never came through for me and insulted me Princeton Township, New Jersey

The Porter Group contacted me just before I graduated from
college last year and proceeded to infuriate me on several levels.  First, the rep wanted to do a Skype
interview, so I bought Skype minutes that became unused and a waste of money
because of a problem on her end.  So we
did a phone interview instead.  As a
previous poster mentioned, she wanted my entire life's job history, and it
seemed like a ploy to discover my age. 
("Oh, so you're NOT a traditionally-aged student?"  "Yeah, that's right, and that's a
problem because...?")  Even more
idiotic, this history had to remain confined to the first page of my
resume.  Okay, and how was I to manage
that?  By setting my resume in two-point
type??  She was also vague as to what
kind of work I would be doing; she would only say business-to-business sales,
which I interpreted to mean cold selling. 
Ugh. 

She told me that my job tutoring for my school (a PAYING
job) could not be considered a "real" job and should be put under
academic experience -- because I was doing it for my school.  Then she proceeded to diss my "real"
job experiences in the "real" world. 
Oh yes, and she insinuated that I had to delete from my resume all
mention of the numerous honor societies and academic awards I had worked so
hard for during my time as an undergrad.

As if all this wasn't infuriating enough, she went silent on
me for a few months after we spoke.  I
knew she had given up on me yet contacted her anyway, politely asking if she
was still trying to place me.  The way I
saw it, she was working for me and needed to be held accountable for her
efforts or possible lack thereof.  She
assured me she was still trying to get me out there and that the results
weren't forthcoming because of the terrible job market.  I let more time pass before finally calling
b*llsh*t on her and telling her off. 
Never again.
