The Potter's House I went to the Potter's House in 2011 and they wanted me to pay $400 a month to stay there which I believe is wrong because a shelter,especially one ran by a church,is supposed to help the homeless get on their feet and aren't supposed to take from you and most homeless people don't even have an income. They told me if I didn't pay them $400 a month that I'd have to GIVE THEM my food stamp card to help feed EVERYONE in there. That is ILLEGAL,when someone has food stamps they are NOT allowed to sell or give away their food stamps.  This place NEEDS to be shut down or reopened by a new owner or church organization who will Actually Help homeless people get on their feet! They kept the air on very low when it was winter time and it caused an elderly woman to get the flu. And I know it is a church who run the place but not every single person is baptist or even religious and they Make you go to their church twice a week,can't be your own church,has to be theirs and they try to force their religion on you and when you go to their church they tell you that you Have to give money to the church if you have any on you! They are evil and money hungry. The pastor and his wife were bragging about how they bought a nice new vehicle and we're going to Australia with the money they received from the members of the church! That's not godly of them! And I had my belongings stolen from a woman there and they didn't do anything about it to her because they favored he! And your not supposed to kick a person out because of their sexuality or race but they kicked a young girl and her toddler out because they found out she was a l*****n! And me,I was raised Catholic and I had a cross necklace with Jesus on the cross and the pastor told me I Had to take it off! This place Needs to be shut down or reopened by a new owner or church organization who will Actually Help homeless people get on their feet!
