The Pour Guy - Terry McDonald Requested our shop to perform work to modifiy a bad part san antonio texas

Customer came in to the shop and wanted to see if we can atempt to modifiy a part of theres that came in defective and soon found out it was a complete order of defective parts  - 3 to 4 attempts - we were able to get there part working as requested and the customer approved the correct sample and then we gave them volume pricing of the full order all at once and the order in stages , the sample part in question had been frosted over from the rework process and they later stated that they would only use us as a emergencey backup, and a correct order came in from china - We stated we would send over an invoice they replied that this was a "gamble" to see if we can do it and not to get to invested - yes we bought tooling to do the job and yes we had to build a fixture to hold the part in question inorder to rework it , But we only requested to be paid for our time only no tooling or fixture building.

Total bill 3 hours for time for 180.00

They aggreed to pay ......never heard from them again
