The Rainmaker Group, Inc. dba Morningstar Restoration, LLC fdba Apple Roofing Mgt, LLC Company takes $5,000 to do a roofing job that never happened. I hear my $$ supports a ministry!!!! Houston, Texas

We were approached in August by Darrell Day, Insurance Claims Specialist for Morningstar Restoration
regarding our roof. They suggested we have our insurance inspect it. They found hail damage and proceeded to give us a check to have the roof replaced. We signed an agreement with Morningstar at which time they requested the insurance check. They took the check and told us they were scheduling the job. The roof job never happened then weather became an issue as they continued to delay.
We received a letter from Morningstar stating they were going to extend the warranty on the roof because of the delay and they would schedule us when the weather improved.
Of course we didnt want a roof applied during the winter so we spoke with Darrell Day and he said again they would get us on the schedule. Finally in March we got a call from Darrell stating that we should contact Morningstar because there was a phone recording stating they were reevaluating their business operations. After trying several times to call the company we were unsuccessful. We then called Darrell back for further explanation. We were told that he and his step son were owed money as well. In our conversation it was mentioned that he noticed some kind of music ministry of some sort at this Indianapolis location. From this point we sought an attorney, filed with BBB, filed a claim with both the Attorney Generals office and the County Prosecutors office. Shortly after this we received a short letter stating the company was filing chapter 7 bankruptcy.
We are attending a creditors meeting April 18 in US courthouse RM416 C 46 E. Ohio St Indianapolis at 11:00 a.m.
Please join us if you have been ripped off by this company. No one should be entitled to be this dishonest and claim Bankruptcy. There are plenty of workers that were never paid for jobs performed. I understand there may be other homeowners in Brownsburg with this experience too. These people need to be held accountable for their actions.
