The SEO Company, Digital Monopoly Scam Warning East Victoria Park Internet

I need to send this review/warning out to everyone thinking of using The SEO Company or Digital Monopoly. If you’re considering using this company, you’ll regret it as I have.

I’m a Perth tradie and a former client of The SEO Company. From day 1 the problems started with these guys. After I had signed up, getting a response by email or phone was brutal and actually getting them to start work on my campaign was impossible. They either forgot about my campaign or just couldn’t be bothered with it, because it took them over 2 months to get started. So I came to the conclusion that the first few months money was a wright off. When they finally kicked off my campaign after two months I thought the worst was behind me.

After they started I begun to see results and I was happy for 3-4 weeks until Google did an update and my site got penalised. I later found out that The SEO Company was doing black hat/dodgy link building that saw me to get quick results, but was also against Googles guidelines. The page 1, 2’s & 3’s I had on Google, disappeared to pages 100 and beyond. When I confronted The SEO Company they blamed me, and basically held me to ransom.  I was prepared to wright off the money spent with The SEO Company and move on, but they insisted I pay out the contract. They gave no action plan to salvage my site, all they cared about was getting their next payment. I had basically no results, spent thousands and they insisted on more payments. When I demanded a solution to the problems, their answer “we are analysing the situation”, we will get back to you shortly. They then had nerve to start charging my credit card without my authority and continued to do so. Does this sound like a company that cares?

In hindsight, I should have chosen a company that offers guarantees and these companies are a dime a dozen. I later had my links analysed by a freelance SEO Consultant and he mentioned the links were pure spam and likely done overseas for next to nothing.
