After being ripped-off by another General Contractor (The Nathan Company - Darren Pereida - another report) asked Howard (his wife was a personal friend of my wife) to fix what the first guy had nessed up. We knew that Howard was not cheap, but, reports were he did quality work, so, we asked him to redo the mistakes that the first guys had done. At first he was very attentive, but, as time wore on and money grew tight, he becamce less attentive and the quality of his work diminished  dramatically. Ultimately his work was exteremely expensive. We paid him everything due knowing that there was still a small amount of work to be completed......he never returned and when questioned wanted more money. It is obvious that all he cares about is money and not quality. Several things he fixed are now going bad and he refuses to come back to fix them without more money.  He is supposedly starting a new handyman business charging $60 per hour - I would stay away.

Sierra Group fixes things FAST

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Friday, April 03, 2015

MY original complaint was unfounded and written in the heat of the moment because there were a couple of small issues that Howard resolved as soon as he was aware they were problems. I had been messed over by another contractor and rather than give Howard time to fix things, I reacted hastily and without realizing that I could not retract my original complaint.

So, I am hoping this report will mitigate any fears that anyone would have in using Howard and The Sierra Group. He truewly does do quality work at a reasonable price.

I apologize for the my last report as I was repsonding to the "heat of the moment" in email traffic with Howard. There was a misunderstanding and I believe both parties misunderstood the other. As I stated before Howard was attentive and the quality of his work was far superior to the work done by my first contractor. There are a couple of things that need to be fixed but, they are relatively minor and should be an easy fix. Overall the quality of the Sierra Group's work is very good especially compared to my previous experience since moving into Highland Ranch.
