The Smartline Group Inc. SCAM-WINNING FINAL NOTIFICATION Morriston Ontario

I received a letter on June 1, 2009 telling me that I was one of 5 winners in the Shoppers Sweetstakes drawn on March 5, 2009. The total prize money is 5 million and is to be split amongst 20 winners each receiving 250,000.00. With that letter I received a check for $4980.00 from which $2995.00 needs to be taken out of and sent back to the company that sent me the check to begin with. I started searching the internet for scams and came up with this website. Not only did I find this website to make a compaint but I also looked up and emailed the Western Bank in Minneapolis, MN which is the bank the check is drawn on and received an email back telling me it was a SCAM, take the letter and check to the post office and do a mail fraud and send the letter and check to the bank. I hope this reaches enough people so these scam artists can be stopped instead of ripping off anyone, especially the elderly and the disabled who are already limited on their funds to begin with.
