While looking for software to help me dynamic create a documnet, I found what looked like the perfect product advertised here: http://www.standardlegal.com/

Upon purchasing this piece of "Legal Forms Software," I received a download link just as I was promised.

I discovered soon, however, that the "Software" I had purchased was actually just a few text and PDF documents for me to print up and fill out by hand.

According the definition of software, software  is  a program which can be install in your computer and help you to do something. So it is not a software, It uses WINZIP to zip a few text and PDF documents in one file.

I was denied a refund because I had already downloaded the "software."

There was no a software in the download, only a floppy disk's worth of text that I could have found elsewhere for free. This is clearly a case of deliberate false advertising.

Denny.

From time to time we find faulty or false companies a long the way and would like to pass this knowledge on.

standardlegal.com offers "Premarital Agreement Software" for $17.95 on thier Website.

The "so-called" software is nothing more than 3 folders, filled with 3 types of "documents", with no SOFTWARE to be found. ALL the Documents are available ONLINE for FREE... The only difference is that their documents allow you to fill in the blanks to fill in your premarital agreement yourself, nothing more than the actual FREE documents available that have been Highlighted for you!

So unless you need help recognizing that the "underline" on the actual form means that you write there, then this form is pretty worthless.

I have written Standard Form toinquire where the "software" was they continue to claim that the software is there in the form of "documents" lol.

Documents are Documents and Software is Software. I get tax Software every year and I fill is simple blanks that make up a confusing legal document for me. Not provide me a highlighted document that I need MS Office to utilize.
