The State Bar of California Mark Hartman & Donald R Steedman Legal license to screw San Francisco California

This is a complaint against The State Bar of California, specifically Mark Hartman & Donald R Steedman. I tried in 2014 to file a complaint against Jeffrey L. Harris of Harris Family Law Group in LA. I hired Mr. Harris to finalize  my case after dealing with another "fine attorney". Instead Mr. Harris took my money & showed up for one court appearance. He was told by the judge to prepare my paperwork & file it. The paperwork he did was returned for a missing form. He never told me! When I finally found out he told me that he didn't have it & not to contact him anymore. The paperwork was never found & to add insult to injury I had to have Mr Harris forcibly removerd as my attorney by a judge. He refused to sign a Substitution form. He also refused to supply a detailed invoice of what he did on my case.

With all of this I tried numerous times to file a complaint with the bar against Mr Harris. They believe everything he did was justified & have sided with him. "Birds of a feather...". If you are considering hiring an attorney for a family law matter, I suggest you save yourself the headache & money. Handle it yourself!
